Director/Creator

Amy R. Poux is a director and creator of contemporary theater and film who turns performance into a playground for connection, creativity, and shared humanity. Poux's immersive, interactive productions blur the lines between audience and performer — inviting everyone to jump in, play along, and be part of the story.

As a director, writer, and music composer, Amy’s original works, from musicals to contemporary plays, explore the hidden corners of ordinary lives. She brings to light the offbeat, overlooked, and deeply human stories that reveal our shared humor, vulnerability, and strength. Poux is also an accomplished theater and film educator, who has directed organizations and programs for youth and adults in colleges and major cultural institutions.
